Been calling for 28 days since I was issued a citation to pay for said violation and nobody will pick up the phone. I will now be forced to take off work to appear in court for a citation that does NOT require a court appearance. Abysmal customer care.
Most corrupt government of any town in the state. Run by a family that may as well be a mafia. What are the chances that I have had two friends get fines for $1,063 for the "move over" law. They sit in the middle of the road with nobody pulled over in the hopes that someone will drive by that is unable to switch lanes. I even know people from there that back me up on this claim.
i keep calling to request a receipt on a paid citation. first the clerk that answered could not find my name in the system when asked if she was spelling it correctly she responded that doesn't matter. i then called my local office to obtain the citation number when i called back the clerk says oh i found it. i was spelling your first name incorrectly.. smh. i then called to ask her if she could fax the receipt for three days she told me she would be faxing it within the hour. Every time i called she would give me attitude as if she was home and i was asking her to do something that was not in her job description. I am from Philadelphia so i deal with rude people all the time i was told that southern people have a nicer attitude well i cant say that for the clerk working at this office.. she was very rude and nasty each and every time i called. i explained to her how important it was for me to get my driving privileges reinstated she acted as if i was asking her to throw the citation out. i paid it in full all i wanted was a receipt... i hope and pray i never have to deal with this court or the state of South Carolina..
